Pak Lah, a good Prime Minister?
Since 3/8, many people have argued that Pak Lah has to step down as the Prime Minister of Malaysia. After the defeat suffered by his party, Pak Lah still took a courageous step forward and decided to be the PM for Malaysia for another term. I am proud of him. I am also happy because I don’t know what would have happened if Najib or anyone else in BN would have been the PM.
I was happy when Pak Lah was first elected as the Prime Minister of Malaysia. I am of the opinion that he is a good man and a cleaner politician compared to the others in his team. He is the only one left in BN that is capable of being the PM. The others have too much dirt in their hands and heads and thus cannot run this country.
Yes, he has made a few costly mistakes and the most costly one was to listen to his BN alliance instead of the Rakyat themselves. If only he would have taken the time to hear the HINDRAF leaders out, I think BN would have won the 2/3 majority. He chose to listen to Samy Vellu and subsequently he had to pay a very costly price. I also hope that he stops sleeping during functions. That’s an embarrassment!!!
If we had anyone else as the PM, I don’t think we would have had an election like this. There would have been more foul play, dirty tricks, chaos and etc. I am not saying that we had a clean election but it was just better than if anyone else from BN would have been the leader. Thank GOD!

I heard Pak Lah addressing the Rakyat a few days ago. After so long, this was the first time I heard him speak so freely. I hope he continues to speak up and stop taking the blame and carry the burden of others on his shoulders. Everyone has to face the consequences of their action. Right from the beginning Pak Lah has given his ministers the freedom to deal with issues and make decisions. Unfortunately, the ministers he had were useless and thus the massive misuse of power. Pak Lah should now let his ministers carry on to be free to make decisions but he has to have a leash tied to them. When they get a bit out of hand, he has to pull them back and warn them instead of letting them run loose.
However, with the strong Barisan Rakyat present today, I am sure they won’t be able to run too far away. The Barisan Rakyat will be there to ensure that the ministers perform their job.
Pak Lah, sorry to say this, I think you have a bunch of useless people around you. Some of your guys have still not learnt their lesson and are still trying to play the racial game. A good example would be Khir Toyo. Are they out of their mind? Come on, its time to grow up. Ask them to start behaving professionally if they want to gain the support of the Rakyat back in the next election.
However, no offence to you Pak Lah, I think this would be your last term as PM. The next election the Barisan Rakyat will take over. They have already started to prove that they are what they say they are. I think they will continue to progress and the the people will be supporting them. Kami bukan Melayu, Cina atau India. Kami Bangsa Malaysia!!!!

SPR needs intelligent staff!
Well, the elections are over and I am still enjoying and celebrating the victory of the opposition which is a dawn of a new era in Malaysian politics. However, I just wanted to share this story with you guys out there.
On 8th of March, my aunt went to vote at the polling center which was located in Sek. Keb. Damai in PJ. She was classified as a senior citizen and was streamed accordingly. SPR staff were smart enough to stream the voters into different categories but lacked the intelligence to ensure that the polling booths are located at suitable places. Senior citizens were asked to go to the 3rd floor and their booth was the last room on that floor. On the other hand, the young and energetic voters were asked to vote on the ground, 1st and 2nd Floor. Now, do understand what I mean? I just don’t understand what was going on in the head of the SPR staff. Was this done intentionally? I just wonder. Hopefully this stupid thing does not occur again in future elections.

“Saya tak tau”!!!

The Chairman of the Election Commission has just declared that BN has won 127 Parliamentary seats and simply said “Tak Tau” to how many seats were won by opposition. Look at Koh Tsu Koon, perfect gentleman. He is a true leader who accepted defeat with grace. Tan Sri Abdul Rashid, the government went all out to keep you in office and even thought it necessary to amend the Federal Constitution just to keep you in office and all you could afford to do in return is to say “tak tau”. Job well done Sir!!!!

PAS creates History in Wilayah!
Congrats Dr. Lo’Lo’. You made history. PAS for the first time won a Parliamentary seat in Wilayah. This has never happened before. Many said that PAS will not support women in politics. You proved that they were all wrong and revealed the true and changing PAS. Really proud of is changing its identity and is appealing to non-muslims and is changing its previous image which was a party for Muslims. Just for the records, my whole family, and by the way we are non-Muslims voted for you. This shows that PAS has started to get the support of non-muslims. This is a very proud day for me.

NTV best election coverage!!!!
For those of you who want to see an independent media channel or want to hear to good comments, please tune in to NTV 7. The panel, Honey Tan Lay Fan and Dr. Rizal bin Mohd Yakob are really good. Their views are really mind opening. It would appeal to anyone who wants to have a direct and honest view of the elections. On the other hand, TV3 is trying to incite problems. They blame everyone for the loss of BN instead of blaming themselves for the failure to deliver the requests of the people. NTV 7, you are doing a good job. Keep it up.

Vote for Opposition!
I have heard that many Christian around Malaysia are not too happy with the BN led government. They are opting to vote for the opposition this coming election.
The question arises, why vote for opposition? BN says everyone is happy except for these group of Indians who are “emotional murderers” and “thugs”. Only HINDRAF is unhappy and is causing problems in Malaysia and have ties to the Tamil Tigers. Very interesting indeed.
Well, the Christian community knows that they are going to face the same plight as the Hindus did. Hindu temples were demolished and was either said to be on private land, government land or not gazetted. As for Christians, the permits issued to build or renovate churches have been limited. End of the day, our places of worship is systematically being reduced. Now, perhaps this is what Uthaya Kumar meant when he said there is ethnic cleansing in Malaysia.
The government has had too much of power and that said power has been abused. Now is a good time for a check to be done. This 8th of March 2008 would be a deciding day.
People should think before they vote. If you are happy with the present conditions, then vote for BN. However, for those of you who are not too happy, please vote for opposition. Please do not spoil your vote. I was previously of the view that if I didn’t like the candidates, I was going to spoil my vote. However, today, I just want to deny BN the 2/3 majority and the only way I can do so is by voting for the opposition. No harm worst than that caused by BN could happen to us. Let’s get together and give the opposition a chance. Kelantan has been happy with the opposition since 1990. They were previously governed by BN but they decided to have a change and never regretted for the change they made. Let’s make the same move as them.
