Former Selangor Menteri Besar Dr Mohd Khir Toyo has tipped him self for the UMNO youth top post. Lately the KJ and Mukhriz have been heavily liked with the top post .Exceprts from a report said that

PAS Hypocrite’s : Shabery Cheek
In the latest posting of the blog of the Information Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek, he said that PAS government in Kelantan was being hypocrite in seeking to make Malaysia Day on Sept 16 a public holiday because it had once disputed the merging of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak to form Malaysia.
I have to disagree with the Information Minister, i don’t think its hypocrisy but more of a change of heart. People are allow to change their views and improve for the sake of the nation with current times. Read the rest of this entry »

Malaysia Day
Malaysia Day falls on the 16th of September every year. This is the day that Malaysia was formed as a nation with Malaya,Sabah,Sarawak and Singapore came together to form a single nation..Malaysia.

BN’s Opposite Concept
I was reading a article on Dato Seri Anwar’s swearing in ceremony which happened on the 28th of August 2008 without any hiccups. Special credits has got to go the Parliament speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia who was very professional during the whole process and didn’t throw a big fuss in getting the New opposition leader sworn in.
Some of the BN leaders seem to be saying all the wrong things for a while now, we had KJ who said Kuburkan Politik Anwar and that bit him right where the sun don’t shine. And the latest was by the Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar.

MCMC Blocks Malaysia Today
Its confirmed! Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has ordered all internet service providers (ISPs) to block Malaysia Today. This has got to be a first for such a thing to happen here in Malaysia. The commission blocked because there were comments on the website were insensitive, bordering on incitement.
RPK’s blog has been on of the free for all websites that gives un-sensored news whethere controversial or not to the masses. If his average hits per day is anything to go by, the site is definately one of the most influencial websites there is in Malaysia. Read the rest of this entry »

Anwar To Be Sworn In
Parliament speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia confirmed that the new Member of Parliament from Permatang Pauh will be sworn in tommorow the 29th of August 2008. This is great new which will allow the new opposition leader to be in the parliament when the budget is tabled.
Well done to the speaker for this speedy work and not delaying the process.

Permatang Pauh Has Spoken!
The tussle to get Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim to be the member of parliament for Permatang Pauh is over. At approximately 10.02pm the EC announced that Anwar Ibrahim has won the P44 seat with the below results :
Anwar got 31,195
Arif Shah, 15,524
Hanafi, 92
Majority : 15,671
A landslide victory in my books for the defacto leader who now can become the leader for PKR, the leader for the opposition and the leader to push for Putrajaya. I was watching the live coverage on Bernama tv and the panel were discussing the elections but there wasn’t any live cross overs to show the announcements what so ever.
It was hilarious when Tan Sri Mohd Taib was interviewed over the phone and he kept saying that its expected and its Anwars home,home,home ground(after being prompted by the host) so he has to do well. He was also talking about some crap about how BN lost more votes yada yada yada.. The host then asked Tan Sri Mohd Taib about Anwar statement saying that winning Permatang Pauh will set him to seize Putrajaya from BN and like a charm the line got disconnected …How convenient isn’t it 
Now its for Anwar to get sworn in and start consolidating and further strengthening the Pakatan to make a push for Putrajaya. The budget will be tabled on the 29th of Aug and i would love to see DSAI sitting on the opposition leaders seat listening to Pak Lah reading out the budget.

Permatang Pauh Live Results
The polls are now closed and the counting is under way. I had a conversation with a friend ealier who told me that if Arif win’s he will be swimming in the Gombak river in his underwear, If Hanafi wins he will do the same but in the nude and if its DSAI he will be celebrating with his family as a Better Malaysia is a possibility.
Another friend told me that if Arif or Hanafi wins, he wants to move to Mongolia and work on Mr Shaaribu’s farm but he thinks that DSAI will win and his children will enjoy the fruit of this struggle.
I dont think that there will be much coverage on mainstream with the announcement but if you want to stay up and wait for the late night news, there might be some coverage. Some sources where you can get some real time updates are HERE, HERE and HERE.
I hope that when the announcements are made, everyone will remain calm and enjoy the moments by staying indoors. No space should be given for anything bad to happen.
