Samy saw it coming

MIC leader Samy Vellu apparently saw it coming! This is great news, the MIC minister is actually a physic! He saw it coming but did absolutely nothing to stop it from happening! Wait…was he a secret Pakatan Rakyat supporter?

When asked if he was a contributing factor to the poor performance of the party in the elections, the 72-year-old politician refused to accept responsibility and pointed the finger at the government instead.

He also went on to claim that he is the strongest link between the party and the masses.Yeap, i got to agree with that…He is one of the few that failed the Indian community and Malaysians in general miserably and being the only Indian leader in the frame….does anyone have anywhere else to go?

My friends were talking today about the festivals this year and one friend spontaneously told the Malay friends…Deepavali is on the 8th of March next year…why? go figure :)

Tun Dr M Post Election Interview

Tun Dr M had a press conference at his residence yesterday to analyze the general election and if Badawi should step down as PM.He also was asked some questions about if Khairy and Samy Vellu were to be blamed for the terrible results.

This was what  he had to say

I think his son-in-law played a big role (in the defeat). This young man who has no achievements before but apparently the PM listens to him. said Mahathir at a press conference.

Are you surprised by the results?

Mahathir: I think it’s shocking. Although I expected BN to lose but I did not think that they lost five states.

I’m sorry that I made the wrong choice in Pak Lah. I never expected a PM to reverse all the policies of the government. So I think the people on the whole must have been very angry. All the three communities, the Chinese, the Malays and the Indians, have reacted.

Will Tun pressure Pak Lah to resign?

I think he should accept responsibility for this. Just as in 2004, the huge majority, the huge victory was purportedly due to him 100 percent. Now he should accept 100 percent of the responsibility.

What do you mean by taking responsibility?

He has destroyed Umno, destroyed BN. And he has to be responsible for this terrible defeat.

NTV best election coverage!!!!

For those of you who want to see an independent media channel or want to hear to good comments, please tune in to NTV 7. The panel, Honey Tan Lay Fan and Dr. Rizal bin Mohd Yakob are really good. Their views are really mind opening. It would appeal to anyone who wants to have a direct and honest view of the elections. On the other hand, TV3 is trying to incite problems. They blame everyone for the loss of BN instead of blaming themselves for the failure to deliver the requests of the people. NTV 7, you are doing a good job. Keep it up.

Unrest caused by HINDRAF?

Many people are of the view that HINDRAF is causing a threat to our peaceful country. I would like to highlight that it is very wrong from them to say so. What HINDRAF did was actually to bring up one of the many issues ie. marginalization of Indians in Malaysia. They, or for the matter anybody else has not brought up the other issues that have been troubling the rest of the rakyat for the past 50 years.

Everyone has been tolerating the nonsense just because no one wanted to cause instability in the country. If the country was so peaceful for these many years, we should be thankful to all those people who were and are still suffering silently so that they do not disrupt the peaceful lives of the others in this country. It is not the government that we have to thank for all theses years of peace and happiness.

Today, thanks to HINDRAF, the rest of the rakyat have decided to stop their suffering, be it Malays, Chinese, Kadazans Sikhs and many others. They are prepared to come out and make the change. They want to send the message to the government that they have not been happy all these years.

It took the people of Kelantan 20 over years to realize that BN was not good. They made the change in 1990 and had stood by it till today. PAS still has a stronghold over the state. It has many non-Muslims supporting them. These are the people who really understand what the opposition can do for them. I believe that by denying BN the 2/3 majority, we would also be able to enjoy the peace and happiness as the people in Kelantan do.

This 8th of March 2008 would be a very important date in Malaysian history. It is a day when the 50 years of silence would be broken. It is the day when the 50 years of being fooled will be ended. It would be a great weight lifted off the shoulders of these silent sufferers.

Disgusting!

This is something that is up at the  Umno Office at Tasek Gelugor on Jalan Teluk Air Tawar at Butterworth. Im not a Muslim but i feel offended by it never the less! I’m not sure as in who put this up but nobody should use such insult on any religion! We live in a country that is occupied by various religions and beliefs so this is simply not acceptable.

Who ever put this up, this is poor…I hope they remove this asap and its the general consensus that politics is dirty but this is rubbish!

Vote for Opposition!

I have heard that many Christian around Malaysia are not too happy with the BN led government. They are opting to vote for the opposition this coming election.

The question arises, why vote for opposition? BN says everyone is happy except for these group of Indians who are “emotional murderers” and “thugs”. Only HINDRAF is unhappy and is causing problems in Malaysia and have ties to the Tamil Tigers. Very interesting indeed.

Well, the Christian community knows that they are going to face the same plight as the Hindus did. Hindu temples were demolished and was either said to be on private land, government land or not gazetted. As for Christians, the permits issued to build or renovate churches have been limited. End of the day, our places of worship is systematically being reduced. Now, perhaps this is what Uthaya Kumar meant when he said there is ethnic cleansing in Malaysia.

The government has had too much of power and that said power has been abused. Now is a good time for a check to be done. This 8th of March 2008 would be a deciding day.

People should think before they vote. If you are happy with the present conditions, then vote for BN. However, for those of you who are not too happy, please vote for opposition. Please do not spoil your vote. I was previously of the view that if I didn’t like the candidates, I was going to spoil my vote. However, today, I just want to deny BN the 2/3 majority and the only way I can do so is by voting for the opposition. No harm worst than that caused by BN could happen to us. Let’s get together and give the opposition a chance. Kelantan has been happy with the opposition since 1990. They were previously governed by BN but they decided to have a change and never regretted for the change they made. Let’s make the same move as them.
