Why wasn’t Saiful Charged?
Today’s events has been nothing short of being absolutely interesting. I’m sure everyone has got one eyebrow raised and are wondering ..WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING
Weird point #01
Situation - You and your friends go to a mall and decide to steal some sweets from the shelves. Suddenly you get struck by a bolt of crap and you decide to go tell the security guards that your friends stole the sweets. Since you told the security, they should frame your picture up, give you a limo and send you home?
YOU WERE PART OF THE DAMN CRIME WEREN’T YOU SHERLOCK?
Weird point #02
A report by The Star quoted Syed Hamin ;
“Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan is not being charged because he is the key witness in the sodomy case against PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim”
Okay… but this one?
He said that in a criminal justice system, when a person comes forward to report on a matter, the person would be protected
Wonder what this guy’s got to say?

Whats happening to our country!?

Thank You PDRM

I would like to thank the Polis Di-raja Malaysia for the massive jam’s it cause today on the federal highway. You not only blocked out a lane with a flurry of cops standing and doing absolutely nothing, you managed to cause a jam that made the federal highway look like a huge car park.
Imagine the amount of wasted fuel that has been burnt this morning (at RM2.70 a litre) productive hours which you have made possible and money the country would have lost just this morning. We understand that Anwar Ibrahim is a massive threat to the Barisan Nasional government, however it should be dealt in a much much better way without causing so much damage to the rest of the nation.
How to handle it you may ask? Im not sure..Your the professional with access to “intelligence” (ie blogs), so please go figure!
For what its worth, you have done a great job in your efforts to bring the nation to a stand still almost 20km away from the Jalan Duta courts, what else closer.
But then again..we are a rich nation so we do have lots of resources and money to blow while the real criminals are lurking around looking for which child to kidnap next, how much drugs to smuggle and which poor female to snatch!

DSAI Press Statement - 6th Aug 08
Its confirmed that Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim will have to appear at the Duta High Court tomorrow at 10am, 7th August 2008 to be charged for sodomy. Repeat tele-cast that of the same script 10 years ago. DSAI held a press conference today.
PRESS STATEMENT
6 AUGUST 2008, PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA
This morning the Malaysian Election Commission announced nomination and polling day for the by-election that I will contest in Permatang Pauh. I look forward to the campaign period to meet with voters in my home constituency. I invite all Malaysians to join me in this historic campaign to bring forth a New Dawn for Malaysia as we work together to build a more peaceful and prosperous nation.
At the same time we would reiterate our longstanding concerns about the integrity of the electoral process. To this date, the evidence of phantom voters and ballot box stuffing has yet to be addressed by the Election Commission. The poor handling of the use of indelible ink in the General Elections gives all Malaysians, particularly those in Permatang Pauh, reason to be concerned about the conduct of polling this month. I urge the Election Commission to take this opportunity to restore some credibility to its reputation by fulfilling its constitutional mandate to ensure that voting is fair and unbiased.
On a darker note, I regret to say that I fear an enormous injustice is about to be perpetrated upon the Malaysian people, worse than those actions taken in 1988 and 1998 which rendered almost irreparable harm against the institutions of democracy and the rule of law. While some individuals suffered greatly by those actions, the Malaysian people have been the greatest losers.
Tomorrow I will be charged with a crime I did not commit. The real criminals will, in their efforts to humiliate me and to derail the people’s aspirations for transformational change in Malaysia, hide behind a smokescreen created by the government controlled mainstream media.
This travesty of justice will take place. It will happen with the active support and the criminal involvement of the highest echelons of the police and politicians—including the office of the Prime Minister.
We have been informed that the Attorney General’s chambers has advised against charging me after having studying the investigation papers. Despite its views, some individuals within the Police have insisted on pursuing this case even though the legal professionals in the AG’s Chambers take a different view.
The evidence proves that the accuser lied in his initial report. He has been seen to be working in close collaboration with the police, notably his meeting with SAC2 Rodwan who was working hand in hand with Musa Hassan to conspire against me in 1998. Other witnesses in this matter have been threatened and harassed in order to fabricate evidence. Doctors appear to have been pressured to violate all norms of medical ethics. Senior Ministers, in their comments about the case, have demonstrated their consistent interference in the investigation.
We are also informed that some individuals within the Prime Minister’s close circles are adamant about pursuing this case. Their involvement further undermines the credibility of the case and proves that the entire conspiracy hatched against me is politically motivated.
Today the Prime Minister faces a crisis of confidence. His approval ratings have plummeted since the March elections and senior members of the Barisan Nasional have joined Pakatan Rakyat in droves. The economy under his abysmal management has reached its lowest ebb in decades and all signs point to further weakening. And just yesterday prominent UMNO members have initiated an investigation into his own involvement in corruption and money politics. This is a man under siege - and he sees no way out but to deflect the attention of the Malaysian people with a sham trial against me.
He is now burning the forest to save his own tree!
I have thus far constrained my criticism of the Prime Minister to his failed policies and general incompetence in leading the nation. But now it is clear that his vendetta against those who would seek his early dismissal from office knows no boundaries and will transgress all limits of the rule of law.
I hold the Prime Minister personally responsible for the damage that is about to be done to the nation and to the integrity and dignity of the Malays.
Our international standing, recently lambasted by prominent leaders from around the world, will plummet even further. Overseas investors are already deeply skeptical about Malaysia on account of its reputation for deeply engrained corruption and economic inefficiency. They will certainly be further dissuaded from any further activity in Malaysia. The continued decline in the economy will lead to greater unemployment and rampant stagflation.
I will fight this with the hope and energy of the people who have supported reformasi in Malaysia. I will not allow this cowardly attack to derail Pakatan Rakyat’s agenda for change. Insha’Allah we will win in Permatang Pauh. Insha’Allah we will win convincingly. I look forward to joining my colleagues in the Parliament to prepare for the historic transition that the country is eagerly awaiting.

Anwar to be Charged
In the latest report by the Malaysian Insider, the police will be charging Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim for sodomy. The investigation was done based on Anwar’s DNA from 1998 when he was first charged for sodomy.
This report is out despite the reason events of the medical reports that indicated that Saiful was not sodomized in the first place. It getting a little worrying for the lay men to watch such drama happening but we sure hope this get cleared up asap and allow the nation to be back in business again.
I hope all this will get cleared up and allow the nation to get back to business again.

Concern over Fabrication of DNA Evidence
PRESS STATEMENT
20 July 2008
Concern over Fabrication of DNA Evidence
Gerakan Chief Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon earlier today echoed statements that have been made by other Barisan Nasional leaders including Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi and Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar calling for Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim to provide a blood sample to facilitate DNA analyses and to do so through an international forensic expert.
As a practicing DOCTOR since 1985 and cardiologist since 1994, I reiterate the statement made by lawyer Sivarasa Rasiah on 18 July 2008 that the presence of an international forensic expert does nothing to satisfy concerns held by Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s counsel over the potential misuse of blood samples in the investigation. This is not for lack of faith in the integrity of the forensic doctors who may take the samples. We are more concerned over the likelihood that the police will misuse the blood samples to implicate Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim by fabrication of DNA evidence.
Such fabrication can easily take place in the circumstances of this case because the complainant has been in the custody of the police since 28 June 2008. The police have been in possession of samples of Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s DNA and his DNA profile since 1998 when ASP Rodwan illegally moved his blood out of forensic custody. Samples of Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s blood have also been available to the authorities from regular medical check-ups taken during the six-year’s period of his incarceration.
Given the current circumstances, the police could quite easily plant Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s DNA (from that which is still in their possession) on the complainant’s clothes or even inside his body. The police could also do that from the blood sample that Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim is being asked to give now. It is well known that blood samples, which contain abundant DNA, can easily be used to contaminate other samples.
As Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim has already clarified, the two doctors at HKL who asked him for his blood also told him that they would have no control over the sample after it was handed to the police.
I also note the lock-up on the 7th Floor at IPK KL, where Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim was detained on the night of 16 July 2008, was closely examined by a special forensic team immediately after his release on the morning of 17 July 2008. This is an odd procedure to follow, bearing in mind that there were others held earlier in the same cell the previous night but who were removed at about 7:30 PM on 16 July.
Was this one of the real reasons Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim was held overnight – to try to gather additional DNA samples illegally and by a blatant abuse of power?

Section 377C of the Penal Code
Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been arrested under section 377c of the Penal Code which reads:
‘Any person who has sexual connection with another person by the introduction of any object into the vagina or anus of the other person shall be punished with imprisonment or a term which may extend to 20 years and shall also be liable to whipping’
This is horrible, feels like dejavu
