Teo Nie Ching
Teo Nie Ching(P102, SERDANG) is another fiesty candidate making her political debut under the DAP flag at the age of 27! She has the reputation of the next “chili padi” and Nie Ching being a trained lawyer is not afraid to take on even Datuk Hoh Hee Lee who is her opponent in the Serdang parliamentary seat.
Some of her statements in her ceramah’s are :
- “I am very disappointed with my rival MCA politicians who are more experienced but do not have the guts to face you (the voters) for a debate with me.”
-“Datuk Hoh Hee Lee (who replaced MCA veteran Datuk Yap Pian Hon in Serdang) spoke only 25 times in 11 years in the Selangor State Assembly, according to the Hanzard. DAP’s incumbent Sungai Pinang assemblyman Teng Chang Kim spoke about 20 times a year in the assembly.
“Now he (Hoh) wants to represent you in Parliament. Is that the kind of MP you want in Parliament? Give me your support and I will speak up in Parliament on your behalf and those who dare not speak up for obvious reasons “
Pretty bold for her considering she si making only her political debut! But when you have people like this around, you know they mean business and will fight for the well being of the people!
People of Serdang…have a look at Nie Ching because she has got the makings of Fong Po Kuan and we all know what Po Kuan is made off!!
