Samy is the reason :Tun Dr M

“I know their main grouse is not with me, their main grouse is with Samy Vellu because with him there, another Indian has been deprived of the chance to come up,So they want to blame me? It is not that. Samy Vellu did not ask for assistance. The problem is that he is preventing other Indians from having a say”

“That is his (Samy Vellu) way of doing things and of course the other voices cannot reach me. And of course, he doesn’t say there is this battling among the Indians,”

I couldn’t agree more to this statement. The puppet show has got to stop!! The Indians need more representing the one full minister.Just like the BN monopolized Malaysian government, the Indian leader is monopolizing the count of voice in the parliament for the Indian’s. He doesn’t promote a Bangsa Malaysia so he represents the Indians but what’s the use of having someone who protect the rights of Indians or helps bring the Indians in-line with current times?

Racial Politics is a thing of the past! It just wont work anymore

Have a look at the scene today, lets say most Indians get what they want. Samy Vellu is removed, so who replaces him? Cant think of any isn’t it?Its about time more talent is brought to the equation, i think MIC could learn from DAP. Hannay Yeoh,Teo Nie Ching and even PKR’s Nurul Izzah a breath of fresh air in the scene.

A 60’s mentality is not going to work in 2008 and beyond!
