Samy is Prepared to Go
“I’m prepared to go even now if the Indian community does not want me anymore,” MIC president Datuk Seri S.Samy Vellu said today. However, he stressed that as a leader of the Indian community, the decision must be made by the community and not by outsiders.“If the Indian community decides that they don’t want me…I’m prepared to go even now…I’m prepared,” the Works Minister told reporters when asked to comment on the party’s preparation for the March 8 general election after delivering his keynote address at the Pan Commonwealth Conference on Professional Services Trade here.
Samy Vellu, who is the sole cabinet minister from the Indian community, also said that this might be the last election he is contesting.“Next term I wont go (to contest ). This maybe my last term,” said the eight-term Member of Parliament for Sungai Siput.
Few points to take out of that statement by the museum material MIC leader .First of all, there are more then Indians at Sg Siput, by only addressing them it shows how shallow the mentality is in day when we should be encouraging the “Bangsa Malaysia”
The sole Indian minister definitely isn’t in the game of grooming future Indian leaders since he made the lead role his own. When he decides to vacate the seat…who takes from him? Not much of concern about the future of the people eh?
Who are the outsiders that is being referred too? Singaporeans or Americans don’t vote here!

He never intended to groom anyone. He didn’t want any threat to his position as long as he is in power. He is definitely not interested about the welfare of anyone else. Selfish old man!!!!!!
