ISA
The term ‘Internal Security Act’ is often given to a piece of legislation laying down regulations that enable the executive government of a jurisdiction to preserve the internal security of the nation. In some jurisdictions, it authorizes the government to arrest and detain individuals without trial(Wikipedia).
Personally i think its a load of crap.Sounds like a good excuse for people to dump those who go against them without the hassle of a proper trial. Interested to know who has been in ISA over the years? Aliran has a comprehensive list of those who were in ISA. You can view the list HERE

why wasnt there any tear gas, water cannons nor any arrests made during the UMNO “peaceful” demonstration near KOMTAR Penang when it was indeed very racial and sparked racial issues? why were the demonstrators even given free airtime by local media to voice their comments which for obviously racial? Pls comment
