Anwar Leaves Turkish Embassy

Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim has left the Turkish embassy where he toke refuge after being hit with sodomy charges and threats to his life. The former Deputy prime minister walked out of the Turkish embassy at 6.45pm today. Good that DSAI is now out of the Turkish embasy but my guess is, the real work will only start now.

Gobind suspended for 2 days

The MP of Puchong, Gobind has been suspended for 2 days by parliament speaker Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia. The son of Karpal Singh was suspended following a run in with the speaker over the issue of PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim’s safety.
Gobind’s decision to raise the matter also caused a war of words between him and Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (BN-Pasir Salak) when Tajuddin noted that a non-related fact should not be included in their questions.
Pandikar ordered both the MPs to sit down and told Gobind to only raise a matter that was related to the oral question.
Gobind however refused and stood his ground.
“Don’t make me use my power under the point of order to be used against you,” said the speaker.
Gobind shocked everyone in the house by replying, “Go ahead and use it!”
Personally i apploud his action, he is a man of his word and is not affraid to stand his ground simply because someone told him that if he didnt step down, “powers would be used”.

Saiful the Accuser
Saiful Bukhari Azlan (left in blue shirt) the sodomy accuser and Khairil Annas Jusoh (right) work for Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak. So if he works for the Deputy Prime Minister and the de facto PKR leader, where does his loyalty stand? Smells like another attempt of a political assasination

Not Again?!

There is something that doesnt smell too good brewing up! Malaysiakini reported that a police report was lodged against PKR Defacto leader on Sodomy charges this evening. His aide also reported missing believe to be detained by police while force him to make report.
I hope this is not a repeat of the ordeal DSAI had to go through. Sounds like a attempt to de-rail the momentum that Pakatan rakyat is building on so well

Kedah getting Hot

The reason statement by the menteri besar of Kedah with regards to his plans to log Ulu Muda forest is receiving much heat from all quaters. The latest to come out and condemm this idea are the Malaysian Bar Council and Gerakan acting president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon.
The forest supplies up to 80% of Penang’s drinking water and it simpy puzzles me on how come its not a protected forest?!
Now back to reality, every one seems to be bashing Kedah but really why are they planning to log the forest in the first place? Ill tell you, they dont have money and the federal govt are supposed to pay the Kedah govt RM100mil for maintainining the forest and not logging it.
Isnt the heat supposed to be on the federal govt? Why havent they paid up?
Food for thought! ![]()

Credits Card Ok

Credit cards can be used in fuel pumps againt! Some of the 200-odd petrol stations here have started to reaccept credit cards in Penang and most in KL have started accepting them again. Its good that they are not making life harder than it already is and sorting the issue up with the banks.

No Credit Cards
First there was the price increase now the petrol pumps dont accept any credit card transaction!! I read about this on the papers today and when i went to the petrol station i saw the circular on at the fuel stations.
Apparently its not profitable to sell fuel via credit cards because the stations get charged interest for these transaction. Looks like we are being treated like scape goats isnt it!!
Not easy being a Malaysian anymore! sigh…
